Job Description: The Dental Hygienist specializes in assessment, planning/development, implementation, and research/evaluation, as it relates to the dental hygienist scope of practice in population health promotion and dental public health.The position will also provide community and preventive dentistry diagnostic and clinical services to clients of the Oral Health Program (OHP). The incumbent will work within the multidisciplinary team of the OHP and other programs/areas as required. A dentist is on contract to provide services as referred by the Dental Hygienist. The Dental Disciplines Act (DDA) legislation governs scope of practice.
