General Merchandise Associate Job Description

As a General Merchandise Associate at Walmart Canada, you will provide exceptional customer service, maintain store displays, and assist with stocking and sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, promoting products, and resolving issues.
  • Cover assigned areas on the sales floor and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Zone assigned areas, move feature merchandise, and work recovery merchandise.
  • Assist with front-end coverage and communicate with other associates to ensure floor coverage.
  • Stock merchandise, downstock if applicable, and apply product protection when required.
Compensation:

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.55, with rate of pay determined based on relevant experience.
