Suitable candidates will have a strong track record in Power / Energy trading with a focus on financials / derivatives – although candidates with a hybrid book with the physical market will be considered.

The firm operates with an incredibly entrepreneurial mindset, so candidates must be self-sufficient in their trading style, but willing to collaborate as part of the greater franchise. They have market leading infrastructure from a technology and execution perspective.

The group have offices in NYC, Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Houston and some presence in Canada.

Role requirements:
Analyse short-term data to look for profitable trading strategies through domestic US markets.
Build & implement efficient and profitable trading strategies.
Make decisions quickly and mitigate risk through accurate execution
Apply market and internal Risk & Compliance structure
Suitable candidates will have:

Entrepreneurial mindset and strong analytical capabilities
Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment
Proven experience in the power trading industry
Excellent grasp of the market fundamentals and power asset modeling
Strong statistical and quantitative analysis abilities
