Meat Associate

As a Meat Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the quality of our meat products. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the meat department, stocking and merchandising products, and assisting customers with their purchases.
Key Responsibilities- Zoning the department to ensure a clean and organized shopping environment
- Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain freshness and quality
- Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to meet company standards
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines to prevent foodborne illnesses
- Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and making recommendations
- Preparing deli food orders and slicing meats to customer specifications
- Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, and pricing
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
