About the Role

In a rapidly evolving business landscape, our External Financial Advisory (EFA) team is dedicated to delivering exceptional services to small and mid-sized companies. As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in providing trusted advisory services, leveraging your analytical skills to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support clients with financial advisory services, analyzing and interpreting financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify areas for improvement, developing recommendations to enhance accounting processes, reporting, and data quality.
  • Develop financial models to support cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and valuations, driving business growth and success.
  • Build effective working relationships with clients, collaborating with accounting and administrative personnel to deliver exceptional advisory services.
  • Develop a deep understanding of MNP's services and clientele through experiential learning and client interactions.
  • Network and support the local professional community, raising awareness of MNP and identifying new business development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Currently pursuing or intending to pursue a CPA designation.
  • Completion of a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration.
  • Experience with financial statement modeling is considered an asset.
  • Experience working with accounting and tax software, such as QuickBooks and Xero, is also an asset.
  • Travel may be required.
