- Plan, develop, and implement educational and recreational programming activities that cater to diverse audiences and interests.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders, facilitate historical dramatizations, and prepare reports.
- Facilitation, training, and instructional skills to guide and teach others.
- Ability to create and maintain stakeholder relationships.
- Research, interpretative, and evaluative skills to develop and implement programs focused on astronomical, environmental, ecological, and recreational themes.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve issues and respond to emergency situations.
- Knowledge of astronomical principles, research-grade astronomical instruments, and regulatory guidelines related to environmentally sensitive flora and fauna.
- Training and program experience in outdoor ecological and environmental education.
