Your Opportunity

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

Prepare and serve hot food, snacks, ice cream, and drinks to visitors, following food handling and safety procedures Process payments following established cash handling procedures Ensure proper operation and cleaning of all equipment Maintain a clean and organized food service area, including stock rooms Greet visitors and and respond to requests in a friendly, efficient manner Sell merchandise and related items Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton's Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals. Other duties as assigned Your Qualifications
Previous experience/training in the food industry is preferred Previous point of sale experience is an asset Interest in hospitality, restaurant, resort management is an asset Ability to travel to a site not serviced by public transportation Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time Successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check (CRC), to verify the absence of a criminal record for which a pardon has not been granted (if over 18 years old). *Cost covered by Conservation Halton up to $30.00. Food Handler Certificate and Smart Serve Certificate is an asset Your Reward
