We are seeking highly motivated Labourers to work in a metal recycling production line, sorting, picking, and processing metal pieces and performing general labour duties.

**Job Summary:** Labourers are required to work in a fast-paced metal recycling production line, sorting, picking, and processing metal pieces and performing general labour duties.

**Job Title:** Labourer

**About the Job:**

  • Sort, pick, and process metal pieces within the nonferrous picking line
  • Manually lift and move materials to assist in loading, unloading, and stocking of material
  • Clean and pressure wash equipment
  • Use hand tools as required for tasks
  • Assist with loading scrap metal for sales
  • Sort and stack materials as directed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly working environment
  • Complete Pre-Job Hazard Assessments and Equipment Pre-Use Inspections
  • Perform other general labour duties as required

**Requirements:**

  • 1-2 years labour experience or experience working on an assembly line
  • Ability to perform physical repetitive tasks and lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work outside year-round in all weather conditions
  • Previous experience working in the industrial/metal industry is considered a strong asset
