Summary: We're seeking a Manager, Vendor Management to lead the optimization of vendor management functions within IT and the Laboratories, leveraging expertise in vendor relationships, strategic planning, and team leadership.

We're looking for a Manager, Vendor Management to join our growing team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for:

  • Building relationships and networks with suppliers, business partners, peers, and leaders to support professional growth and success.
  • Strengthening expertise in vendor management, optimizing functions within IT and the Laboratories.
  • Growing leadership and change management skills through on-the-job experience and in-house training programs.
  • Transforming strategy into action, effectively communicating with stakeholders.
  • Challenging the status quo with empathy and diplomacy, proactively managing the vendor portfolio.
  • Managing the assignment process, identifying and supporting key strategic projects.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, coaching, supporting, developing, and leading the team.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, with a professional designation such as CPP considered an asset.
  • Experience as a manager, with a deep understanding of vendor management and current IT market trends.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills, with critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Bilingualism is required for candidates located in Quebec, with the ability to interact with English-speaking colleagues.
  • No Canadian work experience is required, but you must be eligible to work in Canada.
