Registered Nurse (RN) required to provide high-quality care to patients/residents/clients in a Residential Care Unit setting.

Job Details
  • Full-time temporary position
  • 149.36 hours in a 4-week rotation
  • Pay Band Nurse A ($38.580 to $50.070)
Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, document, and evaluate patient/resident/client care needs
  • Coordinate with facility departments, families, and professionals
  • Promote effective communication through care given and reporting mechanisms
  • Participate in staff meetings and educational opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Nursing diploma or Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing acceptable
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Competencies
  • Advanced - Interpersonal skills
  • Intermediate - Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
Knowledge and Abilities
  • Ability to competently use computers and software applications
  • Ability to establish/maintain effective working internal/external relationships
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to make decisions on patient care and coordination of equipment
Other Information
  • Registered/eligible with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of SK
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
