Dimensional Control Surveyor

Irving Shipbuilding Inc. is looking for a Dimensional Control Surveyor to join their team in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Overview:- Providing support by analyzing and reporting Accuracy Control data collected during the shipbuilding process using various metrology equipment.
- Ensuring structural fabrication and equipment installations are accurate through daily interaction with tradespeople.
- Education: Post-secondary degree in Geomatics or Engineering or minimum 3 years experience in the shipbuilding industry.
- Experience: 3+ years in Production Engineering, Ship Fitting, or Surveying.
- Must meet requirements for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security Clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Collecting, processing, and reporting Accuracy Control data throughout the shipbuilding process.
- Field support for special installations using precision metrology equipment.
- Reviewing Accuracy Control Plans and Unit Integration Files.
- Conducting checks on survey equipment.
