Cleaner Job Description

Boardwalk is seeking an experienced Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in ensuring our communities are clean and sanitized. If you are detail-oriented, take pride in your work, and enjoy working independently while being part of a team, this role is for you.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean building entrances, elevators, offices, halls, stairwells, laundry rooms, garbage rooms, amenity rooms, and any other common areas as required
  • Clean vacant suites and other suite touch-ups as required
  • Assist with touch-up painting and snow removal as required
  • Interior and exterior garbage pick-up as required
  • Ensure proper and accurate inventory management
  • Ensure all equipment is working and being maintained properly
  • Complete other tasks assigned by the Leader

Requirements:

  • 2 years of cleaning experience required
  • Working knowledge of English, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with computer tablets is an asset

Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting
  • Ability to maneuver up to 90kg with the proper equipment
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, coupled with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently (self-managed) and with other Associates in a team environment
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and be flexible in nature
  • Displays a high level of initiative and commitment to excellence

Additional Requirements:

  • Vehicle required
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Permanent weekend shifts as part of a 40-hour work week
