Role overview: We are currently seeking a JavaScript Automation Testing Engineer to join our team in the Toronto, ON location. As a JavaScript Automation Testing Engineer, you will develop and execute automated tests, including integration/API tests and end-to-end testing using JavaScript frameworks such as TypeScript or Cypress testing.

What you'll do:
  • Develop and maintain JavaScript-based test automation frameworks for web applications.
  • Design, Develop and Implement test automation frameworks and test cases for API automation.
  • Maintain automation-related test documentation, test plans, and test cases.
  • Integrate test automation scripts with build deployment process as CI/CD integration.
  • Troubleshoot and debug test failures, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
  • Provide regular status updates to QA managers for project status, overall quality status, and risks.

What you bring to the role

  • Must have 5 to 8 Years of experience in building automation frameworks using JavaScript and TypeScript/Cypress testing.
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript or Cypress automation.
  • Minimum of 3+ Years experience in API Automation, Rest API using Postman tool or Rest Assured.
  • Must have strong exp. in UI automation testing.
  • Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Good experience in CI/CD process and build QA pipeline for automation scripts.
  • Good communication skills.
