About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a high level of customer service and sales skills. As a Cashier and Sales Floor Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Transaction Processing: Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments, and maintain a high level of accuracy with cash handling.
  • Sales Floor Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, restock merchandise, and ensure that the sales floor is visually appealing and well-maintained.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving and processing shipments, counting inventory, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other sales floor associates and cashiers to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of retail experience, preferably in a sales floor or cashier role.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, including the ability to use a point-of-sale system and mobile device.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly around the sales floor.
