The Team Lead at Roots is a key position that links the leadership team and sales associates by assisting in operational functions and motivating the team to exceed goals. This role reports directly to the Store Manager and provides support and coverage in their absence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a sales team to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist in operational functions, including POS management and daily banking procedures
  • Partner with store management to execute action plans and optimize store operations
  • Contribute ideas and solutions to improve productivity and operations
  • Coach associates on customer service fundamentals and provide feedback
  • Assist in resolving customer service matters and oversee task delegation
  • Communicate performance feedback to store management and ensure team adherence to company policies
  • Perform opening and closing procedures, and any inventory duties as directed
Requirements
  • 1+ years of related experience in a retail apparel environment, with luxury retail experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead a sales team and possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for upholding an exceptional customer experience and ability to collaborate with others
  • Availability for varied weekly shifts, including weekends, closing, and holidays
