The City of Trail is seeking a qualified individual to fill the full-time position of Accounting Clerk – Taxation/Utilities.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Finance, the incumbent will be responsible for providing all day-to-day accounting support for taxation and utility functions, cemetery functions, parking functions and will serve as first contact for the public as it relates to the provision of City services, specifically in the Finance Department. The position involves extensive interaction with the public as it pertains to services the City provides and requires a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with members of the community.

This position is within the CUPE Local 2087 Bargaining Unit. Wages are currently $35.86 per hour (2023 rate) and benefits are as per the Collective Agreement.
