Job Title: Repair & Service Shop Technician - Winter 24/25

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Repair & Service Shop Technician to join our team at Big White Ski Resort. As a key member of our repair and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and quality for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintenance of customer skis and snowboards
  • Repair and maintenance of Big White ski and snowboard rental fleet
  • Mounting and calibrating ski bindings
  • Operation of Wintersteiger equipment in accordance with strict workplace safety standards
  • Providing exceptional customer service, including serving at the counter
  • Sales of spare parts
  • Cash handling and balancing
  • Maintaining a safe and clean workplace at all times
  • Keeping accurate records of all repairs and maintenance in accordance with company standards
  • Maintaining adequate inventory and supplies
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year's prior experience as a Repair & Service Shop Technician
  • Ski/snowboard industry experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be approachable, dependable, and a strong team player
