Overview

The Azure Fabric Technology team is hiring a Senior Technical Program Manager - Azure Fabric Technology with experience developing cutting-edge hardware platforms to deliver the latest Virtual Machine products. Success in this role requires a passion for working with a broad range of technical experts to drive high-visibility server hardware programs from concept to global scale. You will work directly with functions such as product management, hardware and software engineering, supply chain, finance and more to create clarity, drive requirements, find solutions and deliver impactful results.

Our server hardware platforms are the foundation of Azure, powering millions of workload instances for internal and external customers. This opportunity will allow you to grow your skills in hardware development, analyze and build multi-generational hardware roadmaps and influence senior leaders across multiple divisions to make the best data-driven decisions. This is a fast-paced, competitive industry witnessing an explosion of hardware design innovation and this role is at the center of driving from innovation to reality.

This position supports a hybrid work environment in Redmond, WA. While there may be opportunities to visit customers, partners or conferences, travel is not required for this role.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • 2+ years of experience in all phases of hardware development (server, enterprise, consumer or other)
  • Prior experience working at a cloud-based company or in fields like telecom or networking.
  • Prior experience designing and/or building complex IT or distributed systems deployments.
  • Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure concepts and design techniques.

Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $104,000 - CAD $193,200 per year.
