Job Summary

As a Self-Checkout Attendant at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in the retail industry and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide assistance to customers processing transactions through the self-service area(s), ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience.
  • Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and ensuring a safe environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Product Knowledge: Educate customers on the correct and efficient use of self-service options, promoting company sponsor programs and services when applicable.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks and interventions as required, politely explaining the reasons for the intervention while reassuring customers of the normal protocol.
  • Technical Support: Call the Customer Service Manager when the self-service area(s) is low on cash or has a technical issue.
  • Inventory Management: Return Scan & Go scanners to their home after use.
