We're Hiring Registered Nurse Position
Fraser Health is seeking to fill a Part-Time opportunity for a Registered Nurse at Burnaby Hospital AND Metrotown UPCC in Burnaby. Responsibilities:
- Assessing patients, making nursing diagnoses, and providing interventions and care.
- Collaborating with patients and families in care planning.
- Participating in care and discharge planning.
- Coordinating nursing care and delegating tasks.
- Collaborating with the interprofessional care team.
- Educating patients and families on illness prevention and health maintenance.
- Documenting assessments and interventions.
- Participating in committees, in-services, and educational programs.
- Acting as a mentor to new nursing staff and students.
- Providing feedback on patient care programs and equipment.
- And other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives. Completion of post-graduate coursework in emergency nursing or relevant experience.

- Ability to conduct patient assessments and provide nursing care.
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team.
