**Job Title:** Security Guard

**Company:** Paladin Security

**Location:** London, Ontario

**Job Type:** Full Time

**Hours:** Days/Nights Rotating Shifts

**Pay Rate:** $18.50 per hour

The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Ingredion plant and its employees. This includes controlling entry and access to the plant, maintaining accurate logs, and reporting any incidents or safety non-compliances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control entry and access to the plant
  • Maintain accurate logs of those entering and leaving the plant
  • Document and Customs control for contractors/drivers
  • Report safety non-compliances and incidents to management
  • Aid in incident mitigation and investigations
  • Aid in emergency responses and first aid measures
  • Maintain a helpful and professional affiliation with employees, contractors, and visitors
Preventative Measures:
  • Prevent thefts, break-ins, and vandalism
  • Prevent accidents, fires, and leaks
  • Prevent unauthorized parking on site
  • Prevent hazardous conditions
  • Prevent any other circumstances not in line with good security practices
Requirements:
  • Be courteous and cooperative with a high quality of customer service
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures
  • Able to maintain a professional composure in pressure situations
  • Write clear, concise, and legible reports
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid Ontario Security Guard license
  • Valid First Aid & CPR level C certificate
  • Experience in a Truck Gate/Warehouse environment
  • Physically capable of cutting truck bolt seals
  • Microsoft Office experience
Essential Job Functions:
