Seeking a Treasury Associate to join the Finance team in Vancouver, processing cash allocations, handling payments, and contributing to reporting efforts.

Your Role

As a Treasury Associate, you will be responsible for accurately allocating payments, matching invoices, and submitting cases for resolution. You will also contribute to reporting efforts, ensuring all details are accurate.

  • Process claim requests from internal/external auditors, coordinating with multiple departments for timely resolutions.
  • Administer Accounts Payable activities, including processing payments and reconciliations.
  • Assist in managing the refund process and monthly internal compliance reports.
  • Allocate incoming money in accordance with working instructions.
  • Reconcile and audit transit accounts to ensure timely reconciliation.
  • Ensure proper matching of incoming money with batch totals posted daily.
  • Reconcile and match customer accounts as requested.
  • Help minimize data entry errors and avoid payments "on account".
  • Create and distribute internal reports within the organization as requested.
  • Assist Credit Representatives with accounts receivable reconciliations.
  • Enter and process data, perform document and file management functions, and provide month-end reporting support.
  • Assist in training new team members and provide treasury support.

Your Skills and Experiences
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similar field.
  • 2+ years of experience in cash/payment allocation, preferably in a similar role.
  • Bilingual Spanish is a strong asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Macros.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within our organization.
