The laboratory is housed at Dalhousie University's Tupper Building and shares open-concept space with other immunology researchers, providing ample opportunities for collaborations. We access state-of-the-art flow cytometers and microscopes with dedicated expert operators. Tumour samples from a comprehensive lung tumour bank will also be accessible. Dalhousie University is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, walking distance to downtown, one of Canada's oldest universities and Atlantic Canada's leading research-intensive institution. Qualifications/Requirements of Position Applicants must be highly motivated and collaborative, with solid experience in the majority of the following, with a willingness and desire to learn the rest: handling of viable human samples (blood and tumour), immunology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry and humanized mice. Applicants must have a PhD with 0-2 years' experience as a post-doctoral fellow, and a strong track record of publication in peer-reviewed journals and presentations to scientific audiences. Candidates should be able to independently design and assess their experiments and research program, but will have assistance from the PIs, research technicians and other laboratory members.
