Job Summary

As a Consumables Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our retail operations. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in customer service, sales, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
    • Assist customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise, and making purchase decisions.
    • Resolve customer issues and refer concerns to management where appropriate.
  • Merchandise Management
    • Maintain sales floor presentation by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods, setting up and maintaining product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
    • Ensure proper handling of claims and returns, secure merchandise, identify high shrink items, and maintain a safe work environment as per Company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory and Stocking
    • Receive and stock merchandise, utilize equipment appropriately, administer required paperwork, logs, and other documentation.
    • Stock merchandise/picks, downstock if applicable, apply product protection when required, set and complete modulars, including flex modulars, and set new shelf caps.
Requirements

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $15.75. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
