We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children and Family Support Worker to join our team at the Department of Community Services. As a key member of our Child and Family Wellbeing team, you will play a vital role in supporting children, youth, and families in need.

Primary Accountabilities
- Assist Social Workers with documentation and case planning
- Accompany Social Workers on home visits and provide support to clients
- Enter case plans and other documentation into our computer case management systems
- Aid Social Workers in making collateral contacts and referrals
- Provide support and assistance to clients in a variety of settings
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed a Child & Youth Care Worker diploma from a provincially approved post-secondary institution
- Understanding of child development, family dynamics, and community resources
- Knowledge of the physical, psychological, and emotional needs of children and youth in a family setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
