• Zoning the department to ensure a visually appealing and easy-to-shop environment
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products to maintain high-quality merchandise
• Ensuring merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies
• Adhering to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates to ensure food safety and quality
• Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and maintaining features to optimize sales and customer satisfaction
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment by keeping the area neat, clean, and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong commitment to customer service, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $15.75. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
