Accounting Analyst

Join Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) as an Accounting Analyst and be part of a team that moves essential goods across North America, supporting economic growth and creating exciting career opportunities.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic role that supports different Finance teams in the execution of their responsibilities. The Accounting Analyst will perform three or four rotations of six to nine months each, gaining valuable experience and skills in various areas of accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform journal entries and reconciliations
  • Coordinate activities with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Prepare external financial disclosures and financial analysis on monthly and quarterly data
  • Document internal control processes and identify areas for improvement
  • Address and respond to queries from auditors and internal reviewers

Requirements:

  • Registered (or registering) in training towards CPA designation
  • Undergraduate degree or College Diploma program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or Economics
