We are hiring a Field Service Technician for the Montreal area to join a leading provider of high-precision woodworking and CNC machinery. If you have experience in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, along with a strong ability to troubleshoot and support customers in the field, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

What You'll Do:

  • Install, troubleshoot, and service advanced woodworking and CNC machinery at client sites
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and provide effective solutions
  • Conduct on-site training for customers on equipment operation and maintenance
  • Recommend system improvements and additional services to optimize machine performance
  • Document all service work, ensuring proper follow-ups and reporting
  • Travel across your designated territory with occasional overnight stays

What You Need:

  • Experience in industrial/capital equipment maintenance, ideally in woodworking, CNC, or automation
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
  • Familiarity with PLC programming, drive systems, and CAD/CAM software
  • Ability to work independently, manage service calls, and build strong customer relationships
  • A valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable service vehicle
  • Willingness to travel within Montreal and surrounding areas, with occasional travel outside of Quebec
  • Bilingualism (English & French)
