The Traffic Manager will manage the end-to-end process of monthly promo cycles and monitors the general flow of all print design projects between designers, print vendors, multiple business units and category managers to ensure timely completion and delivery.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent work experience is required – preference given to Multimedia or Marketing degrees and retail sector experience

• Must possess 4+ years’ experience working with creative teams and handling client relationships

• Manage the end-to-end processes for the US creative hub and work collaboratively with hubs in Europe and Canada

• Must have a keen eye for detail and be able to proof artwork against briefs and brand guidelines

• Experience with workflow management systems

• Must possess strong time management, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills and have proven project management experience

• Experience with stakeholder management and communication on projects

• Build networks and relationships with wider stakeholders including head of production, creative director, national marketing team, designers, vendors, print vendors and project owners

• Have positive, can-do outlook, able to leverage past experience to provide the best solution for each project

• Be unafraid to ask questions and have an innate ability to identify and manage a project at risk

• Ability to accurately manage multiple and sometime conflicting requests

• Must be persuasive with excellent written and verbal communication

• Comfortable working with design/project budgets and interpreting data to track KPIs and project reporting

• Work closely with head office to identify new opportunities



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for receiving monthly orders for print signage requests from internal project owners to the creative team:

• Kicking off new requests and assessing capacity of designers to assign work

• Create workflows as needed, keeping timelines for each request to be shared with lead designer and project owner.

• Revise and maintain shifting schedules to keep lead designer, design team and project owners aware of current status

• Monitoring project statuses with appropriate team members to communicate delays or troubleshoot and flag issues and deadlines in jeopardy

• Manage status of projects with daily team standup calls, weekly production meetings and designer check-ins.


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $32.00 to $35.00/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
