Job Description

The Recreation Aide is responsible for:

  • planning, implementing, and evaluating therapeutic and diversion programs
  • documenting resident participation in activities
  • coordinating and participating in general resident care

The Recreation Aide will assist in:

  • Fundraising efforts for the department
  • Liaising with stakeholders (e.g. school, service clubs)
  • Facilitating resident, family and volunteer interaction.

The Recreation Aide will:

  • Obtain feedback from customers and implement improvement strategies and recommend improvement activities
  • Carry out all assigned training and duties in compliance with applicable Occupational Health and Safety legislation and company policy.
  • Respect and preserve the privacy, confidentiality and security of resident and workers' personal and health information.

Time Type:

Part time
