BURNCO has a tremendous opportunity for a Network Team Lead to join our growing IT department. Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure across North America. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of networking technologies and a passion for ensuring optimal network performance and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and high-performance network solutions that meet the evolving needs of BURNCO's business.
- Network Monitoring and Management: Monitor network performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing team of network engineers and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other IT teams and business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver network solutions that align with overall business objectives.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure network security measures are in place and up-to-date, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Leadership and Competencies:
To thrive as the Network Team Lead at BURNCO, you will:
- Technical Expertise: Possess deep knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and architectures.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire your team.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Identify and resolve complex network issues quickly and effectively.
- Communication Skills: Communicate technical information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related role.
- 2+ years of experience leading a team of network professionals.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid passport to travel to US operations as needed.
