Introduction

We are currently hiring a Customer Service Representative for our client located in Oakville, ON. Our client is a global leader in wastewater and clean water technologies across various industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for interacting with customers to provide them with information to address inquiries regarding products and services. This is a one-year contract on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office) available immediately with the possibility of the contract being extended at the end of the term.

Responsibilities

  • Help resolve any customer complaints.
  • Responsible to handle all complaints in accordance with the company's guidelines and policies.
  • Representatives may attempt to solve the problems or at least propose some solutions.
  • Responsible to send customers their replacement products or reverse erroneous fees.
  • Responsible to function like gatekeepers, gather information on the problem and escalating it to senior team members to resolve the problem.
  • Responsible to validate that the complaints made are valid and must do whatever they can -- within the bounds of their authority -- to make sure the customer is satisfied when the call is over.

Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Finance or Supply Chain or equivalent on-hands experience.
  • Three-plus years of experience in customer service.
  • Experience and comfortable communicating on the phone with customers for extended periods of time.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce, or other ERP and CRM software is a strong asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to prioritise and pivot based on business needs.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to provide clear and accurate updates to relevant teams.
