Full job descriptionAyr Dental is looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team in Ayr, ON
We are a practice that is committed to delivering exceptional results through quality care and innovation. Our team is comprised of highly skilled, professional, and caring individuals.
We are looking for a Hygienist for Mondays to join our small and cozy office in Ayr. We have revamped our sterilization bay and have updated some of our equipment in the office.
This candidate must know Abel Dent OR have a strong knowledge of it.
Hours will fluctuate throughout the week but our office hours are typically 9am to 5pm on Mondays.
No Fridays or weekends This opportunity gives you a chance to have a free long weekend, every weekend or temp on the side if you wish
Wear your most colorful scrubs if you'd like or any color of your choosing. We like them all
We provide all PPE equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized oral health care instructions
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures (only if requested)
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
Skills:
- Customer Service: Excellent interpersonal skills to provide a positive and comfortable experience for patients
- Abel Dent: Familiarity with Abel Dent software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing
- Dental Office: Familiarity with general dental office procedures, including appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and billing
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing quality care to patients. Your skills in patient care and knowledge of various dental specialties will contribute to the success of our practice.
