We are looking for an engaged individual to take on the role of Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist. This role is responsible for managing specific projects or cases regarding patient reimbursement and coordination for the NavieGo branch of the organization. In collaboration with the dispensing BioScript Pharmacy pharmacist, the Bilingual Patient Reimbursement Specialist is responsible for overall management of their patient cases, acting as a single point of contact to their assigned healthcare providers. This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our reimbursement practices and design workflows, with room for advancement as we grow.

How you will make an impact
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects required to obtain prescription drug coverage for patients.
  • Coordinate cases with insurance companies, physician's offices, and healthcare professionals to maximize reimbursement solutions.
  • Coordinate documents, submissions, and all related paperwork to insurance companies and public/federal funding programs.
  • Foster and build relationships with key clinics.
  • Coordinate pharmacy processes required once funding has been obtained.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of public/private and federal funding mechanisms.
  • Other duties and tasks as required.
What you’ll bring to our team
  • Bilingualism - English/French - is a requirement.
  • Prior experience in a reimbursement role is a strong asset.
  • Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or insurance industry is an asset.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer/client service.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications (Google apps, Word, Excel).
  • Professional/courteous/efficient telephone manner.
  • Proven ability to organize time, set priorities, and multi-task to meet various competing work deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
  • An out-of-the-box thinking approach.
  • Able to work rotating shifts Monday through Friday, covering the hours of 8 AM to 8 PM EST.
