Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to develop, manage and execute project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure deliverables are met - 1 year contract. Ideally, someone from BC, will consider someone remote from other provinces.
Must haves:- 8+ years’ experience in developing, managing and executing project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure deliverables are met.
- 4+ years’ experience in managing projects related to upgrading or managing IT systems implementation.
- Strong Relationship Management.
- Experience working directly with Distributed Energy Resource Management System.
- Responsible for the Distributed Energy Resource Management System/Demand Response Management System project.
- Develop, manage and execute project plans, schedules, and milestones to ensure deliverables are met.
- Complete monthly reviews of costs and budget, reporting variances and providing forecasts.
- Attend and actively participate in weekly status meetings with vendors and the DERMS team.
- Work closely with the Distributed Energy Resource Management System platform vendor to monitor progress on the plan, answer questions, overcome issues, and ensure milestones are met.
- Support the addition of new devices/OEMs to the Distributed Energy Resource Management System platform.
- Support any new Distributed Resources Program additions per checklist in the Service Introduction Plan, including getting the data required for the DRMS to operate.
- Facilitate meetings and training sessions for team members as needed.
- Liaise with technical and product teams to answer questions and ensure deliverables are met.
- Ensure all required platform documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
- Support other related IT projects that help to deliver Capacity products to customers. These projects may or may not interact with the DERMS.
- Similar roles and tasks to DERMS but may also include working with other company's owned IT assets, leading or supporting other project teams to develop and execute on project plans.
