Role Overview

The primary function of the IT Specialist is to provide day-to-day and strategic IT support to the entire organization .

Role Objectives

The IT Specialist ’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

IT management and support for a wide variety of hardware and software including:

  • Responding to and managing IT issues
  • Ongoing evaluation of useful life remaining for all IT equipment; and
  • IT equipment acquisition and activation
  • Ensuring that the IT/IS strategies support the business goals of the organization while always considering the cost benefit of technology investments
  • Creating and monitoring a secure, proactive technology environment where the information systems are always up to date while avoiding end-of-life, reactive scenarios
  • Reduce fluctuations in IT expenditures through a predictable information systems budget by offering a fixed monthly cost that includes the hours needed for support and maintenance
  • Carry ing out IT projects at all stages (evaluation, development, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization)
  • Understanding and ability to provide train ing , and troubleshoot ing on multiple platforms used at Rejuvenation
  • Analyzing and developing IT business processes involving operations, security, change management incident response and support
  • Overseeing and implementing all IT needs based on new Clinic builds
  • Full security management of all software applications accounts and computers
  • Contingency planning for power outages, server issues, equipment failure, etc.
  • Server management and maintenance
  • Onboarding and offboarding of staff and contractors with direction from HR , including setup of credentials, access information, hardware set up, etc.
  • Procurement and inventory of technology assets
  • TV asset management in all clinics
  • Troubleshooting with all technology assets
  • Ensuring proper backups are being completed and Data integrity remains intact
  • Working with the Executive Team in discovery of new IT/ I.S solutions
  • Working with the Executive Team in strategic planning for IT related projects
  • Providing end user support in a receptive and timely manner through an IT ticket system
  • Creating a stable IT environment and promote a standard of hardware and software used throughout the organization
  • Providing updates and metrics to the Executive Team as requested
  • Other duties as required by the Director of Operations

Role Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience is required
  • Completion of an IT related post-secondary educatio n is considered an a dvantage
  • Experience in supporting with website design, updates and maintenance , as well as experience with WordPress is considered an asset
  • Available to work Mon ‐ Fri 8am ‐ 4pm with evenings/weekend project work as required
  • Proficient understanding of MS365 functionality and governance, including SharePoint and Teams
  • Understanding of best cyber-security and internal controls practices and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Works well under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Stron g attention to detail
  • Experience building and maintaining an IT centralized infrastructure
  • Experience working in a multi-site organization across Canad a
