We’re building a high-impact AI team from the ground up and looking for a Senior Machine Learning & AI Engineer to lead the development of our next-generation AI models, including OCR, NLP, deep learning, and multi-modal architectures. Key Responsibilities:


Advanced Machine Learning Development

  • Design, develop, and optimize AI models for detection, OCR, named entity recognition (NER), and NLP to improve prescription processing and pharmacy automation.
  • Fine-tune and transition NutraMate’s AI stack to multi-modal transformers for advanced contextual decision-making.
  • Implement deep learning techniques to improve document understanding, entity recognition, and intelligent workflow automation.


AI-Driven Workflow Automation

  • Develop real-time AI-driven Windows screen analysis for context-aware suggestions and automated decision-making.
  • Architect and deploy an intuitive workflow management system, allowing non-technical users to build, test, and debug AI-assisted workflows.
  • Create AI-powered agents that streamline prescription management, patient data processing, and pharmacy operations.


Model Optimization & Deployment

  • Leverage GPU acceleration and multi-GPU training to optimize model performance while preventing memory leaks.
  • Ensure efficient deployment of AI models across Windows and Unix/Linux environments.
  • Build continuous learning pipelines to enable real-time model updates and adaptation to new data.



Requirements:


✅ Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR)

✅ 5+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML model development, optimization, and deployment

✅ Strong expertise in deep learning, OCR, NLP, named entity recognition (NER), and workflow automation

✅ Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud-based AI frameworks

✅ Skilled in GPU optimization, CUDA programming, and multi-GPU model training

✅ Experience in building real-time AI systems, including screen analysis, automation, and decision support tools

✅ Strong problem-solving ability, with a passion for AI innovation and research

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with continuous learning pipelines for AI systems that improve over time
  • Familiarity with MLOps, cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure), and scalable AI infrastructure
  • Experience in human-in-the-loop AI and intelligent workflow management
