Job Description
Mission
Vaco is seeking an IT Auditor to lead audits in complex IT environments and coordinate co-sourced audit projects with minimal supervision. The role involves leveraging data-driven tools and techniques for internal audits and supporting business auditors in integrated audit processes.

Main Responsibilities
The IT Auditor will focus on risks associated with IT systems, taking responsibility for or supporting IT audits in areas such as:

  • Evaluating IT management practices, including IT security for business and process automation systems, using IT security best practices and frameworks such as NIST.
  • Conducting compliance reviews with regulations, including Sox ITGC and ISAE 3402, with a particular focus on managing privileged access rights.

Data-Enabled Internal Audit
This involves utilizing data analytics as a standard approach for both business and IT audits, including:

  • Reviewing IT process mining implementations.
  • Analyzing data to support audit steps, addressing specific questions and hypotheses.
  • Selecting, implementing, and supporting advanced IT security and data analytics tools and techniques, including training others in their use.
  • Assisting business auditors in integrated audits by analyzing IT processes and employing data analytics methods and tools.


Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of IT risks and controls with experience in auditing and controls.
  • Proficiency in in-depth data analytics, including advanced tools and statistical techniques.
  • IT security auditing or consultancy experience is a strong asset.
  • CISA certification is considered an advantage.

Languages:

  • Proficiency in English and French is required.
