About us

North Whitby Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic opened in June 2003 and since then, has continued to grow and support the community. We are a small business in Whitby, ON. A high quality of care provided by all staff has been, and continues to be, our primary focus.

We are looking for an upbeat and enthusiastic individual for a part-time position. Having flexibility in your hours is beneficial in a fast-paced physiotherapy clinic. The role involves providing assistance to physiotherapists to ensure optimal care and supporting the team to maintain organization of the clinic.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Instruct/supervise exercises, including correction of form.
  2. Administer modalities as prescribed by physiotherapist.
  3. Greet and communicate effectively with patients.
  4. Ensure all paperwork has been completed by patients.
  5. Additional computer skills are an asset, such as Google Sheets, Docs, Drive (familiarity with Practice Management Software like Juvonno is a plus).
  6. Participate in social media and document key performance indicators of the clinic onto a spreadsheet.
  7. Cover the Patient Experience Coordinator at the front desk to book appointments, handle payment, and billing.

Qualifications:

  1. Self-motivated and proactive.
  2. Desire to learn.
  3. Friendly and energetic.
  4. Good communication skills.
  5. Experience with teaching exercises.
  6. Understanding of the scope of physiotherapy.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.5 per week

Additional pay:

  • Bonus pay

Schedule:

  • Morning shift
  • Weekends only

Education:

  • Secondary School (required)

Experience:

  • Canadian work: 1 year (required)
  • Exercise instruction: 2 years (required)

Work Location: In person
