Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with a strong focus on leadership, and hands-on experience with key testing tools. The ideal candidate will lead a team of ~10 testers while performing hands-on testing. This role involves managing quality of applications end-end across the portfolio.


Responsibilities:

· Manage end-end quality of application development lifecycle.

· Optimize and manage resources across the testing lifecycle.

· Plan, manage and lead the design and execution of test strategies, plans, scenarios.

· Coordinate test strategies with project managers and stakeholders.

· Establish proactive monitoring and application health dashboards and remain hands-on on granular details.

· Provide practical insights on testing and user stories during development phase.

· Incorporate AI and automation to increase efficiency and productivity.

· Lead and mentor the testing team to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.


This role is part of a Hybrid Work Arrangement and remote arrangement and office location is at 5700 Yonge St. or at discretion of Hiring Manager.


Evaluation Criteria


Testing 60%

  1. Expertise in manual and automated testing tools, SQL, and database testing.
  2. Experience in planning and executing test strategies and identifying gaps in user stories.
  3. Incorporating AI and automation to enhance efficiency and quality.


Leadership 40%

  1. Proven experience managing and mentoring a team of ~10 testers.
  2. Strong collaboration with stakeholders to align on test strategies and priorities.
  3. Proactive monitoring and management of resources to ensure quality outcomes.
