Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Allied Health, the Naturopathic Doctor works collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals at Park Integrative Health (PIH) to provide comprehensive and personalized naturopathic care to patients of all ages. This includes conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing health conditions, and developing individualized treatment plans that integrate natural therapies such as herbal medicine, clinical nutrition, acupuncture, lifestyle counselling, and homeopathy. PIH is a private health and wellness clinic that specializes in providing comprehensive, collaborative healthcare to individuals in the greater Strathcona County and Edmonton area.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, medical history, and lifestyle factors.
- Use a holistic approach to diagnose health conditions, identify underlying imbalances, and determine appropriate treatment strategies.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate naturopathic modalities to address the root cause of health issues and promote healing.
- Provide guidance on nutrition, exercise, stress management, and other lifestyle factors to support patients' overall well-being.
- Prescribe natural remedies, supplements, and therapeutic interventions to support the body's innate healing abilities.
- Monitor patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients about naturopathic principles, empowering them to take an active role in their health and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with family physicians to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and safety protocols.
- Assist with other clinic activities as required.
- Actively participate in the Client Care Program and Internal Referral processes to continue to maintain the highest quality of client-centred care.

Qualifications:
- Doctor of Naturopathy (ND) degree from an accredited naturopathic medical school.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a naturopathic doctor in Alberta.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with a deep understanding of naturopathic principles and modalities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counselling skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current research and advancements in naturopathic medicine.
- Empathy, compassion, and a genuine desire to help patients achieve optimal health and well-being.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
