We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our client's team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis within the banking sector, specifically with experience in documenting workflows and processes, data and/or data lineage. Experience with FR Y-14 reporting and loans and/or fixed income products is a plus.


Responsibilities:

• Document and analyze workflows and business processes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define requirements.

• Reconcile and analyze existing datasets.

• Receive daily reports, manipulate data, and generate new reports in specific formats.

• Support the Portfolio Optimization (POG) team with reporting requirements and other client management tasks.

• Update existing spreadsheets every morning and submit them to internal Treasury, Finance Reporting team, and the bank's custodial (external).


Qualifications:

• At least 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst.

• Strong business analysis experience, particularly in documenting workflows and processes at a major investment bank.

• Solid understanding of data and data lineage.

• Preferably, experience with FR Y-14 reporting.

• Experience with loans and/or fixed income products is a plus.

• Proficiency in MS Excel.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Quick learner, team player, able to grasp/follow instructions, work under pressure, and deliver tasks on time.

• No specific software proficiency required beyond MS Excel.
