Role Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Infrastructure Manager to lead and oversee our network infrastructure team. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, reliability, and scalability of our network systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network design, implementation, and management, along with a strong background in team leadership and strategic planning


Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Design & Implementation: Develop and implement network infrastructure strategies that align with organizational goals. Design, configure, and deploy network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
  • Management & Oversight: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network engineers and administrators. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to ensure high availability and efficiency. Analyze network traffic and capacity planning to prevent bottlenecks and downtime.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce network security policies and best practices. Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards..
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with network equipment vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration files, and troubleshooting guides. Prepare and present regular reports on network performance, incidents, and project statuses to senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, I.T or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role with a strong focus in network infrastructure management.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, mentorship, strategic planning skills, in-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network Security practices
  • Preferred Experience: Strong understanding on network security principles and experience with networking protocols, technologies and standards
