Dans ce rôle, vous serez un élément essentiel de l’équipe des RH, épaulant les membres de notre équipe au bureau du Canada principalement, mais aussi à l’échelle mondiale, lorsqu’ils travaillent sur divers projets de RH. Vous devez avoir des connaissances de base en droit canadien du travail, puisque vous serez notre spécialiste local au Canada.
En raison de la nature du travail requis pour ce poste, il s’agit d’un poste de travail sur place. Vous devrez travailler depuis notre bureau à Montréal.
We are looking for a HR Generalist to join our team. The goal of an HR Generalist at Wisk is to support HR operations and contribute to the success of our organization. You will be a part of the HR Operations team that supports employees through their career with Wisk, ensures compliance, and contributes to a safe and positive culture.
In this role you will be a key part of the HR team supporting our team members in the Canada office primarily but also globally when working on various HR projects. Having basic knowledge of Canadian employment law will be needed as you will be our local expert in Canada.
Due to the nature of the work required for this position, this is an onsite opportunity. You will be required to work from our Montreal office.

- Fournir des conseils et du soutien aux employés et aux gestionnaires canadiens sur les politiques, les procédures et les pratiques exemplaires en matière de RH.
- Tenir des dossiers exacts et à jour sur les employés conformément aux exigences législatives.
- Appuyer les initiatives de RH à l’échelle locale et mondiale.
- Gérer les questions de professionnalisme et de confidentialité relatives aux relations avec le personnel.
- Assurer la conformité aux lois et règlements fédéraux et provinciaux en matière d’emploi.
- Soutenir notre équipe de talents lors des événements de recrutement locaux.
- Exécuter d’autres tâches mineures de gestion de bureau selon les directives du directeur général du Canada, comme : commander des collations pour le bureau, veiller à la disponibilité des fournitures de bureau, gérer l’accès aux badges de bureau et planifier des activités de bureau amusantes
- Oversee local employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting orientations, partnering with IT on new hire equipment, & preparing digital paperwork.
- Provide guidance and support to Canadian employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with legislative requirements.
- Support HR initiatives locally and globally.
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment laws and regulations.
- Support our talent team attending local recruiting events
- Light office management needs as directed by the Canadian GM such as: ordering snacks for the office, ensuring office supplies are available, office badge access, planning fun office events

- Compréhension approfondie des lois et règlements canadiens en matière de travail.
- Expérience des systèmes d’information des RH et maîtrise de la suite Google.
- Entregent et excellentes aptitudes à la communication écrite et orale.
- Sens de l’organisation et excellente gestion du temps et capacité à hiérarchiser les tâches.
- Capacité à maintenir une confidentialité stricte et à traiter les renseignements de nature délicate avec discrétion.
- Certification en RH (p. ex., CRHA, CHRL), un atout.
- Bilingue (anglais et français).

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience working as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.
- Solid understanding of Canadian employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Google Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- HR certification (e.g., CHRP, CHRL) is preferred but not required.
- Bilingual English/French
