Tasks:
  1. Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs
  2. Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients
  3. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
  4. Prepare master format estimates (Class A)
  5. Prepare elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D)
  6. Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
  7. Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects
  8. Project cash flow and financing requirements
  9. Utilize quantity take-off procedures
  10. Analyze tenders and recommend awards
  11. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems
  12. Monitor and adjust contract expenditures
