Tank farm labourer

GFL is looking for Labourers (Tank Farm Technicians) for our Napanee, Ottawa location.

Must be able to work evening shift from 4pm-12:30am (training period will alternate between day and evening shifts). There is an on-call requirement every 3 weeks from Monday to the following Monday of that week.

*Job Responsibilities: *

* Variety of in-shop work;

* General House Keeping and Facility Maintenance;

* Receiving/Organizing/Processing incoming and outgoing loads;

* Dip and sample of the bulk tanks;

* Pumping of containers (drums & totes);

* Sampling, dumping and decontamination of trucks;

* Tank cleaning;

* Assisting in Water Treatment processes;

* Entering Confined Spaces;

* Working Indoors and Outdoors, in all weather conditions;

* Manual/physical labour and repetitive tasks.

*Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:*

* Professional and positive attitude;

* Motivation to ensure timelines and expectations are met;

* Strong regard for safety and safe work practices;

* Forklift experience an asset, willing to train;

* G class driver’s licence in good standing with a clean driver’s abstract (an asset).

* **Must be clean shaven** in order to wear a mask
