Christmas Kettle Coordinator

Boundless Vancouver organizes the Christmas Kettle Campaign to raise funds to feed, clothe and provide community for individuals and families. The Kettle Coordinator ensures the smooth running of the campaign, maximizing donations, coordinating employees and volunteers, and strengthening existing and forging new community partnerships.
Hours:- 35 hrs/wk, Sept. 23rd to Nov. 16th and 40 hrs/wk, Nov. 18th to Dec. 24th. Flexibility will be required.
- Sept. 30th, Oct. 14th and Nov. 11th will not be scheduled work days.
- The successful job applicant will have completed a high school diploma or higher level of education.
- Previous fundraising and supervisory experience.
- Experience working with and leading volunteers will be an asset.
- Strong communication skills – oral, written and interpersonal, with the ability to make decisions and work on a team. Ease and comfort in making a high volume of telephone calls is a required ability for this position.
- Organizational skills – scheduling, proposals, capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Technological skills – Microsoft Office and other software systems.
- Integrity – High standard of integrity, judgment, confidentiality, and trustworthy management of funds.
- Background check consent and clear vulnerable sector screening.
- A clean driver’s abstract.
