SUMMARY:

Lantic is currently recruiting for the position of Channel Marketing Manager based at our Toronto offices. Reporting to the VP, Sales and Marketing, the Channel Marketing Manager will have a high level of engagement and exposure throughout the organization, providing opportunities for future growth. The incumbent is responsible for leading the marketing function for the Sugar segment as well corporate branding. He/she will lead 3 full-time direct reports (1 marketer and 2 analysts) as well as all agency partner relationships.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Value Proposition: Articulate meaningful value propositions that resonate with targeted audiences;
  • Communication: Craft and deliver meaningful messages & content across relevant platforms (digital catalogue, web);
  • Business Reviews: Collaborate with sales team to deliver impactful business reviews;
  • Services: Create & launch digital services to enhance the value proposition (Customer portal);
  • Planning: Partner with Sales Team to Facilitate the commercial annual business plan;
  • Lead analysts to deliver insight and regular reporting of: volume, revenue & pricing, price/mix, forecasting, monthly and Quarterly Management Reporting;
  • Craft strategy to evolve and enhance reporting and analytics;
  • Be the primary steward of our product brands;
  • Evolve brand guidelines;
  • Packaging evolution: Balance cost, functionality, sustainability;
  • Drive harmonization across manufacturing sites;
  • Create a process and discipline of SKU rationalization;
  • Brands: Be the primary steward of our corporate brand;
  • Evolve brand guidelines;
  • On-line: Craft overall strategy and content plan for our on-line presence across various platforms;

QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field;
  • MBA preferred 8+ years experience in marketing B2B marketing experience
  • Experience within the Food/FMCG industries
  • Exceptional, well-rounded communication skills
  • Experience with business analytics (price/mix analysis, cadence reporting)
  • Self-awareness, empathy, and relationship management.
  • Leadership skills and commitment to the team’s development
  • Ability to establish trust and to influence effectively
  • Ability to build strong relationships (internally and externally), accept accountability and deliver on commitments.
  • Be a self-starter, demonstrate an ability to map-out a game plan when surrounded with a high degree of ambiguity/ road-blocks.
  • Ability to explore multiple possibilities for overcoming challenges and to think creatively to determine the best solutions.
