Our client is a full-service, results-based BC law firm, centrally located in Greater Vancouver and well-situated to meet the needs of a diverse range of businesses, individuals, and institutional clients. We are conveniently located in the Central City Tower accessible by sky train in downtown Surrey, one of the fastest-growing business communities. We are currently seeking a full-time Land Development LAA - Hybrid with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our firm.


Duties include


  • Opening, organizing, and closing files
  • Performing corporate searches, LTO searches and due diligence searches
  • Drafting and sending correspondence to clients, purchasers, solicitors, and financial institutions
  • Drafting due diligence reports for clients, monitoring and reporting on due diligence for transactions
  • Managing intake of documents and file-related materials and updating binders
  • Scheduling client meetings, and maintaining electronic calendars
  • Maintaining a BF and limitation system
  • Frequent communication with clients and solicitors in charge of transactions
  • Other administrative tasks as needed


About you:


  • A Legal Administrative Assistant Certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Minimum of 2 years of working experience as an LAA
  • Working knowledge of BC Online and myLTSA
  • Knowledge of Real Estate Practice Guidelines, Land Titles Act, and other procedures, statutes, rules, and regulations applicable to real property law
  • Basic familiarity in conveyancing is an asset
  • Proficient with MS Word and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise good judgement, professionalism, and to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
