Summary

As a Vibration Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the advanced analysis of mechanical vibrations within our company’s machinery and equipment. Your expertise will be instrumental in leading our efforts to enhance machine reliability and performance through predictive maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collects vibration data on rotating equipment, on-site, and analyses data to assess equipment condition
  • Work closely with plant staff at all levels to provide insight into equipment condition and corrective actions
  • Prepares reports/work requests, priority reports for customers
  • Perform related activities such as balancing, alignment, thermography, installing remote sensors, acceptance testing, etc.
  • Support bearing mounting/dismounting on plant shutdown ensuring good practices
  • Participate in Bearing Root Cause Failure Analysis
  • Installs and troubleshoots Condition Monitoring system issues (portable or online)
  • Provide support on SKF products and vibration analysis to customers
  • Seek assistance and advice from co-workers to refine diagnostics and proposed corrective actions when required
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred) or related technical field experience.
  • Certification in Vibration Analysis (ISO Category I or higher preferred).
  • Experience in maintenance and reliability within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and team-building abilities.
  • Certified in other Condition Monitoring Technologies (Infrared, Ultrasound, Motion Amplification & Balancing) preferred.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office 365 applications and other computer tools.
